Just Say No is a 40-60 minute drug prevention presentation designed specifically for school students. We deliver a responsible and powerful drug and alcohol awareness and prevention presentation that educates youth about the real dangers and consequences of drug use and then equipping them with alternative ways to live a drug free, fulfilled, motivated life in a world full of temptations

Teacher feedback:

THANKS SO MUCH for coming to speak today. My day has been filled with teachers coming up to me saying that they were really touched by your story, think you're amazing for coming to speak about all your experiences, how they were amazed that the students were all so captivated. All of them are very grateful to you for giving your time to come and speak to our students

"Thanks again for coming to our school and doing your presentation. The timing really was perfect and I think the message hit home hard to a lot of kids into experimenting and playing around. I found the thing I liked most about the presentation was the style. It was really powerful and did not give any glory to drugs and that lifestyle. Often presentations make drugs more inviting, but yours did not. It was brutally honest, with the way drugs escalate, and the shame on your family, and that being watched by police, caught and charged is what is going to happen, was really hard hitting." Andrew Vallance, Year Level Coordinator

"Just a short line to say 'Thank You'. All feedback from those parents that attended was fabulous. Your presentation was very informative and successfully complimented our Drug Education awareness goals. Thank you once again." Primary School Teacher

STUDENT SUPPORT & FOLLOWUP:
Due to the nature of some of the Jade Lewis seminars and presentations address sensitive issues (e.g. drugs, alcohol, depression, death etc) and follow up may be required. It is the responsibility of the school to provide this follow up and support for the young people. A year co-ordinator, school counsellor, psychologist or pastoral care worker could be present during every seminar. We recommend that the school make available to the students a list of relevant resources including local community services, phone hotlines, and youth support websites in addition to the resources provided by Jade Lewis & Friends.
